prepositions নিয়ে আলোচনা করব।
Step-8: Along-এর ব্যবহার
Rule-1: বরাবর বোঝাতে along ব্যবহূত হয়।
যেমন: a) They were walking slowly along the road.
b) I looked along the shelves for the book I needed.
Rule-2: দীর্ঘ কোনো কিছুর সারি বোঝাতে along ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
a) Houses have been built along both sides of the river.
b) They went along the side of that field.
Step-9: Among-এর ব্যবহার
Rule-1: অনেকের মধ্যে কোনো কিছু ভাগ করে দেওয়া অর্থে among ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
a) They divided the mangoes among the boys.
b) The chief guest distributed the prizes among the winners.
Rule-2: কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর মাধ্যমে পরিবেষ্টিত হওয়া বা কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর মধ্যে বোঝাতে among ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
a) There was a house among the trees.
b) The strolled among the crowds.
Rule-3: অন্তর্ভুক্ত হওয়া কিংবা অনেক ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর মধ্যে ঘটা বোঝাতে among ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: a) A British woman was among them.
b) He was among the last to leave.
Step-10: Between-এর ব্যবহার
Rule-1: দুটি ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর মধ্যে বোঝাতে between ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: a) Divide the mangoes between Rana and Rupa.
b) There was a pier-glass between the windows.
Rule-2: দুই বা ততোধিক ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর মধ্যে বোঝাতে between ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: a) I sat down between Rahim and Karim.
b) Switzerland lies between the two windows.
Rule-3: দুটি ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর মধ্যে বোঝাতে between ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: a) It is cheaper between 6 pm and 8 am.
b) Don’t eat between meals.
Rule-4: দুটি ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর মধ্যে বোঝাতে between ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) There is a close relationship between Maya and Keya.
(b) There is a link between unemployment and crime.
Step-11: Around-এর ব্যবহার
Rule-1: আনুমানিক বা প্রায় বোঝাতে around ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
a) He arrived around five o’clock.
b) The cost would be around 5,000/-.
Rule-2: আনুমানিক প্রত্যেক দিক বোঝাতে কিংবা ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুকে পরিবেষ্টিত করা বোঝাতে around ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
a) I heard laughter all around.
b) This is the yard with a fence all around.
Rule-3: অনেক স্থানে বা স্থানের অভিমুখে বোঝাতে around ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
a) We were all running around trying to get ready in time.
b) There were papers lying around all over the floor.
Rule-4: কোনো স্থানে উপস্থিত থাকা বা সহজলভ্য হওয়া বোঝাতে around ব্যবহূত হয়।
যেমন: a) There was more money around in those days.
b) I knocked but there was no one around.

Step-22: Off-এর ব্যবহার
Rule-1: নির্দিষ্ট স্থান থেকে দূরে কিংবা সময়ের ব্যবধান বোঝাতে off ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) I called him but he ran off. (b) Summer is not far off now.
Rule-2: কোনো কিছু দূরীভূত হয়েছে বোঝাতে off ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) Take your shoes off. (b) He has had his beard shaved off.
Rule-3: বন্ধ কিংবা বাতিল বোঝাতে off ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: The ceremony is off.
The switch of the fan has been made off.
Rule-4: কর্ম থেকে দূরে বা ছুটি বোঝাতে off ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) She is off today.
(b) I have got three days off next week.
Step-23: On-এর ব্যবহার
Rule-1: কোনো বস্তুর ওপর অবস্থান কিংবা মধ্যে বোঝাতে on ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) There is an attractive picture on the wall.
(b) Find out the diagram on page 50.
Rule-2: কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর মাধ্যমে ভার বহন করা বোঝাতে on ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) She was standing on one foot.
(b) Hang your coat on that.
Rule-3: কোনো পরিবহনে আরোহণ করা বোঝাতে on ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) He was on the plane for New York.
(b) I came on my bike.
Rule-4: কোনো কিছুর অব্যবহিত পরে বোঝাতে on ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) On arriving home I found that they had gone away.
(b) Please report reception on the arrival.
Rule-5: দিন বা তারিখ বোঝাতে on ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) They came on Sunday.
(b) I shall offer you this on your birthday.
Rule-6: কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তু সম্পর্কে বোঝাতে on ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) This is the book on the language movement.
(b) She tested us on English Grammar.
Step-23: On-এর ব্যবহার
Rule-7: কোনো গোত্র বা প্রতিষ্ঠানের অধিকারভুক্ত হওয়া বোঝাতে on ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) They are on the committee.
(b) She may be on the panel.
Rule-8: দিক বোঝাতে on ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) He turned his back on us.
(b) They are on the left.
Rule-9: ভিত্তি বা কারণ বোঝাতে on ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) This is the story on fact.
(b) on their advice I applied for the job.
Rule-10: কোনো কিছুর মাধ্যমে আর্থিকভাবে সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত হওয়া বোঝাতে on ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) They live on this pension.
(b) She is to live on a low wage.
Rule-11: কোনো কর্ম বা অবস্থা বর্ণনা করতে on ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) They came here on business purpose.
(b) The book is currently on loan.
Step-24: Through-এর ব্যবহার
Rule-1: কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর এক প্রান্ত থেকে অন্য প্রান্ত বোঝাতে through ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) The burglar got in through the window.
(b) The bullet went straight through him.
Rule-2: কর্ম, অবস্থা কিংবা সময়ের শুরু থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত বোঝাতে through ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) He will not live through the night.
(b) I am halfway through her second novel.
Rule-3: বাধা, স্তর কিংবা পরীক্ষা অতিক্রম হওয়া অর্থে through ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) Go through this gate, and you will see the house on your left.
(b) The bill had a difficult passage through parliament.
Rule-4: মাধ্যমে কিংবা কারণে বোঝাতে through ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) You can only achieve success through hard work.
(b) It was through him that I got the job.
Step-25: Towards-এর ব্যবহার
Rule-1: কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর অভিমুখে বোঝাতে towards ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) They were heading towards the German border.
(b) She had her back towards me.
Rule-2: নিকটবর্তী হওয়া কিংবা কোনো কিছু অর্জন করা অর্থে towards ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) This is a first step towards political union.
(b) They are coming towards you.
Rule-3: কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর সম্পর্কে বোঝাতে towards ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) He was warm and tender towards her.
(b) Their attitude towards death is objectionable.
Step-26: With-এর ব্যবহার
Rule-1: কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর উপস্থিতি বোঝাতে with ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) She lives with her parents.
(b) I have a client with me right now.
Rule-2: কোনো কিছু থাকা কিংবা বহন করা অর্থে with ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) He looked at her with a hurt expression.
(b) They are both in bed with flue.
Rule-3: যার মাধ্যমে কোনো কিছু সম্পাদিত হয় এমন বোঝাতে with ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) Cut it with a knife. (b) It is treated with acid before being analyzed.
Rule-4: কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর বিপক্ষে বোঝাতে with ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) We had to quarrel with her.
(b) I had an argument with my boss.
Rule-5: ব্যাপারে কিংবা বিষয়ে বোঝাতে with ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) Be careful with the glasses.
(b) Are you pleased with the result?
Rule-6: অন্তর্ভুক্ত হওয়া অর্থে with ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) The meal with wine came to Tk. 800/;
(b) With all the lesson preparation I have to work 12 hours a day.
Rule-7: কোনো ব্যক্তি কোনো কাজ যেভাবে সম্পাদন করে তা বোঝাতে with ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) He behaved with great dignity.
(b) She sleeps with the window open.
Rule-8: কারণে কিংবা ফলস্বরূপ বোঝাতে with ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) She blushed with embarrassment. (b) His fingers were numb with cold.
Rule-9: কোনো কিছুর মাধ্যমে নিয়োজিত হওয়া অর্থে with ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) She acted with a touring company for three years. (b) I am appointed in a bank with HSBC.
Rule-10: কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তু থেকে আলাদা বোঝাতে with ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) I could never part with this ring. (b) Can we dispense with the formalities?
Rule-11: সত্ত্বেও বোঝাতে with ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) with all her faults I still love her.
(b) with all their falsehood we forgave them.
Step-27: Within– এর ব্যবহার
Rule-1: নির্দিষ্ট সময় অতিবাহিত হওয়ার আগে বুঝাতে within ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) You should receive a reply within seven days. (b) Tow elections were held within the space of a year.
Rule-2: কোনো কিছুর পরিসীমা কিংবা পরিধির মধ্যে বোঝাতে within ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) That question is not within the scope of this talk.
(b) We are now within range of enemy fire.
Rule-3: কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর মধ্যে তথা ভেতরে বুঝাতে within ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) The noise seems to be coming from within the building.
(b) There is discontent within the farming industry.
Step-28: Out – এর ব্যবহার
Rule-1: স্থান বা বস্তুর অভ্যন্তরীণ অংশ থেকে বের হয়ে আসা অর্থে out ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) She ran out into the corridor. (b) I got out of bed.
Rule-2: নির্দিষ্ট অবস্থায় কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তু আর বিরাজমান না থাকা অর্থে out ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) Try and stay out of trouble.
(b) I watched the car until it was out of sight,
Rule-3: কোনো ব্যক্তি কোনো কর্মে আর জড়িত নেই এমন বুঝাতে out ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) It was an awful job and I am glad to be out of it.
(b) He gets out of the army in a few week.
Rule-7: কোনো ব্যক্তি কোনো কাজ যেভাবে সম্পাদন করে তা বোঝাতে with ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন:
(a) He behaved with great dignity.
(b) She sleeps with the window open.
Rule-8: কারণে কিংবা ফলস্বরূপ বোঝাতে with ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) She blushed with embarrassment. (b) His fingers were numb with cold.

Rule-11: সত্ত্বেও বোঝাতে with ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) with all her faults I still love her.

Step-28: Out -এর ব্যবহার
Rule-4: কোনো কিছুর কারণ বোঝাতে out ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) I asked her out of curiosity.
(b) She did it out of spite.
Rule-5: অচেতন অর্থে out ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) He was out for more than an hour and came round in the hospital.
(b) She was knocked out cold.
Rule-6: প্রান্তভাগে কিংবা পরিপূর্ণরূপে বোঝাতে out ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) Hear me out before you say something. (b) We left them to fight it out
Rule-7: স্থানের কাছ থেকে দূরে অবস্থান করা অর্থে out ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) The boy dashed out into the road.
(b) Don’t lean out of the window.
Rule-8: স্থান থেকে কিংবা দেশ থেকে অনেক দূরে অবস্থান করা অর্থে out ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) She is working out in Australia.
(b) The ship sank ten miles out of Stockholm.
Rule-9: কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তু, স্থান, কর্ম প্রভৃতি থেকে সরে আসা অর্থে out ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) He got thrown out of the restaurant.
(b) This detergents good for getting strains out
Rule-10: কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুু থেকে অর্জিত হয়েছে এমন বুঝালে out ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমন: (a) He drank his beer out of the bottle. (b) I paid for the damage out of my savings.
