Matin’s body handed over (হস্তান্তর)to DMCH for medical research গবেষনা
The body of language movement  hero Abdul Matin was handed over to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital for medical research after hundreds of his admirers(ভক্ত)  paid last tributes to (শেষ শ্রদ্ধা) him at the Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka today.
Gulbadan Nesa Monika, wife of the language movement veteran(অভিজ্ঞ), handed over the body to DMCH Vice-Principal Shafiul Alam at the Shaheed Minar premises at 1:47pm, reports our correspondent from the spot.
Matin’s coffin was kept at the Shaheed Minar for two hours since noon so that his admirers can pay tribute to Matin, popularly known as Bhasha Matin for his pivot role(মুখ্য ভুমিকা ) in the Language Movement of 1952.
Aged 88, the language movement veteran died yesterday morning, bringing an end to an illustrious (প্রসিদ্ধ) political career that inspired hundreds of thousands in building a right-based society.
