Basic Standard Grammar-2 (Adjective)

 Rules -1 : An “ ing” adjective usually describes a thing or situation:  “ing”  যুক্ত Adjective সব সময় বস্তু এবং প রিস্থিতি ব্যাখা করে।
Practice:
1.Mary wore a frightening mask
2. Rahim’s (charmed/ charming) songs are popular with children .
Ans: Charming.
3. It is (astonished/astonishing) how our bodies fight disease.
Ans: Astonishing.
4. Water shortage is our most (worried/ worrying) problem.
Ans: Worrying .
5. Your speech is more (amused/amusing) how our bodies fight disease.
Ans: Amusing.
Rules-2: An “ ed” adjective usually describes how a person or an animal feels and something is already completed or someone has already done something: “ed” যুক্ত Adjective সব  সময় কোন ব্যক্তি বা প্রানীর অনুভভুতি ব্যাখা ক রে অথাব কেউ কোন কাজ ক রে ফেলেছে।
Practice:
1.Jhon saw the mask.The frightened boy hid behind is mother.
2. A(furnished/ furnishing) apartment in that building is now available for rent.
Ans: Furnished
3.The (disgusted/ disgusting)customers complained about the poor service.
Ans: Disgusted
4. The workers packed the (canned/caning) fruit in large boxes.
Ans: canned
Rules-3: some “ ing” and “ed” adjective have comparative and superlative forms. We use more and most with these forms: কিছু “ing” এবং “ed” adjective তুলনা এবং সব চেয়ে বেশী ব্যাখা ক রতে  আসে। সেখানে more এবং most ব্যাবহার হবে।
1.Water shortage is our most worrying problem.
2.He is the (most admired/ admiring) athlete in Asia.
Ans: most admired
